Construction.

On our group blog the labels of each piece of work illustrate who did what during planning: http://beeanutproductions.blogspot.co.uk

As for filming and editing we decided to use my rough edit to work from for our final cut so my main job was editing, colour grading and motion. Also filming wise the ratio of who shot most was more to myself so I did not contribute to soundtrack or title slates.

There is also another video of me filming but unfortunately Deborah did not upload it to the group account so I am unable to find it and embed it. You can find it on the group blog though in the evidence post which is linked above.

My Rough Edit. Opening.

This is my rough edit of our thriller opening to "Chasing Shadows". I browsed through all of our footage that we have taken then edited together this production. I then fixed any shots that were a little off centre and colour graded all shots with a blue tint and exaggerated shadows. This gave my opening a cold look and the exaggerated shadows fit the thriller category. It also fitted ironically with our film title.
Filming itself was a little difficult as our locations became available and unavailable throughout the week so we ended up filming at three different locations.
The whole experience made our group band together as a team to achieve this footage and we are proud of our final shots.

The next steps for our opening is receiving feedback on all three of our edits then choosing the direction of our group edit. We will then add the soundtrack that we created using garageband and the titles that we have already planned roughly where to place.
